Speculum Mortis is a horror-styled point-and-click adventure.Gameplay consists of wandering around a Victorian age residence which was abandoned years ago — or so it seems at first glance.
Except for a few hues of gold and red, all the environments in Speculum Mortis are presented in grayscale to illustrate the darkness and the predominant psychological horror atmosphere.

Amazing job. My only complaints - which are very minor, are that when the mouse is not visible and when out of the frame - it makes it hard to use an item quickly (once faced with 'locking in' the spirit). Also, it was pretty hard to figure some stuff out.
I hope this game gets some decent publicity - it definitely deserves it.

This game was really well done! The graphics were so stylish and neat and the atmosphere was very scary and unique. The story was also interesting and all-around well executed.
