Wubly Wubly is yet another awesome game by Jesse Venbrux, also known as 2Dcube. You control a pink Ubly character called Wubly who always moves right quickly. It's from this original feature that your fast typing skills will come in handy, as you can only interact with Wubly when it hits
Ubly Rings. The aim of the game is to grab all the yellow rings, avoid obstacles and escape every levels by pressing the Space button when Wubly is over the red ring. The different movements are archieved by using the arrow keys, or the WASD keys respectively to the arrows. Space can also be used to skip the cutscenes.

"Simple," you may think. Not to say the least, the game provides both easy and hard levels, all extremely well designed. Despite the repetitive graphics and obstacles, the variety in the levels is still impressive. An interesting aspect comes from the fact that there aren't too many catches. You know what you did wrong most of the time, but that
doesn't stop you from doing the same error again and again. The fast paced action is frustrating at times, though the only person there is to blame is your own self, for not remembering the level correctly or for lacking reaction when needed.

The strong point of the game has to be the gameplay. Admittedly, it isn't strictly limited to avoiding spikes and walls or destroying blocks. 2Dcube took his simple platforming game to a higher step by adding many original features, such as numberous unlockables, Virus Games, extras and customizable aspects. But that's not all! Ublies, like us humains, need to satisfy essential needs like eating, drinking and sleeping. To this extend, you must ensure to keep enough money, gathered by finishing levels or beating mini-games, to buy supplies. Failing to satisfy Wubly will result in having to start over again.

As expected from the game creator, the graphics are simple, colorful and all in all awesome. They may not appeal to everyone's style of graphics, but I thought they were just right for the game type though more variety wouldn't have hurt. The absence of a background didn't bother me: the nice particle effects and the trail left behind Wubly filled in the blank space in a subtile and non-distracting way. The game has interesting cutscenes that make it easy to understand the goal of the game. The music was very good too, and so were the sounds: they fitted so well that I didn't take notice of their presence at first.

Overall, Wubly is a fantastic platformer. If you like fast action and challenges, look no further and download the game; you will be charmed by its highly addictive concept. It's as simple as that!

Wubly is a very orignal platforming game. Wubly (the pink character) always moves to the right, and you have to press up, down, left, or right when he hits an Ubly Ring. It's hard to explain, but it has to be played to be understand.

What's in the game?

- Story Mode (Tutorial, 10 levels, Boss, and tons of cutscenes)
- Challenges (24 small levels)
- Fubly Mode (play with Wubly's brother)
- Robot Mode
- Boss Mode
- Alphabet Levels (another 26 levels)
- Hard Levels (really, really hard)
- Slow Mode
- Fast Mode
+ tons of minigames to buy at the Shop.

Very good game! Everything was smooth and polished, down to the menus. The gameplay was fast and addictive, so I played for quite a while just trying to beat one level. And, thankfully, it wasn't impossible. The idea itself was fun and well executed.

The downsides are simply that the game was too short. Even though there were a bunch of minigames and other level styles, the story mode felt too short. Also, in the boss level when you are trying to catch those circle things and rockets are being shot at you, I found that the rockets are a nuisance that kill you, and yet cannot be destroyed or avoided. Finally, having to replenish Wubly's food, drink, and sleep thing was pointless and annoying, especially when you're in the middle of an intense level and just want to beat it.

Other than that, I found this game intense, enjoyable, and very well executed.

This is a very nice game! It is quite challenging! It gets a little tiring after a while, but oh well. I liked how you made the window shrink into nothing when you quit.

Great game, very fun and fast paced. I just finished everything, including blue world with 0 deaths, yet it doesn't say I beat boss mode, must be a bug. Besides that I love it.

WOW! This game is amazing, I've just got up to level 10 in robot mode, and the game is really hard. The minigames and extras from the shop are really good, especially wubly paint, I think that its amazing that you can paint with light, 10/10 :)>

This has, undoubtedly, the BEST opening screen of any game I've ever seen. Nothing short of a Zeeky H. Bomb could top that. Gameplay was quite fun, required attentionate watch and could go on for a while. (Blue World)
But I digress, this was excellently made, and the minigames/extras were just plain fun, although short. (Cookie Eater's my favorite)
Overall, a splendid job on the game, it was fun all the way through. Even while I was leaving. YES, it's that cool.
Play it already, you muppet.
